| Abstract | 시편 38-41편은 시편 제1권의 마지막 그룹으로서 죄로 말미암는 질병과 악인들의 공격으로 고통당하는 다윗이 하나님께 용서와 회복과 구원을 간구하는 탄식 시편들로 이루어져 있다. 이 그룹의 시편들은 공통된 어휘들이나 문학적 표현들로 공통된 주제들을 강조하고 있다. 하나님에 대한 특별한 호칭들이나 죄나 징계와 관련된 표현들, 원수들에 대해 묘사하는 내용들이 이 그룹의 통일성과 응집력을 강화한다. 이런 문학적 특징들에 기반하여 시편 38-41편의 신학적 공통된 주제를 분석해 보면 먼저 시인인 다윗은 하나님의 징계 가운데서 자신의 죄에 대한 하나님의 심판의 혹독함을 느끼고 있으며, 자신의 죄를 깨닫고 그 죄를 고백하고 참회하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 하지만 거기에 머물지 않고 다윗은 질병의 재앙에 대한 깊은 탄식들을 그 재앙을 허락하신 하나님 앞에 올리고 있으며, 질병을 빌미로 자신에 대한 거짓된 소문을 퍼뜨리고 자신을 죽이려는 음모를 꾸미는 악한 원수들에 대한 고발도 올린다. 그리고 각 시편은 중심이나 시작과 끝에서 그런 고통에서 시인을 구원하실 하나님에 대한 신뢰와 확신을 표현하고 있다. 그 신뢰는 죄 용서와 질병에서의 회복과 원수로부터의 구원에 대한 기도로 나아간다. 그런데 시편 38-41편이 가지고 있는 많은 공통된 주제와 어휘들은 사무엘하 7장의 다윗언약과 관련되고 사무엘하 11장부터 20장, 그리고 24장에 기록된 다윗의 범죄로 초래된 다윗 통치 후반부의 혼란과 깊이 관련되어 있음을 알 수 있다. 그런 점에서 38-41편은 ‘다윗’이나 위대한 ‘다윗 왕가’조차도 하늘 왕이신 하나님의 자비와 용서와 기도 응답으로 회복되고 원수들의 공격에서 지켜질 수 있음을 강조한다고 볼 수 있다. 즉, 다윗 언약에서 약속한 다윗 왕조의 영원성이 하나님의 용서와 자비에 달려있음을 보여준다. Psalms 38-41 are the final group of the first book of the Psalms, consisting of lament psalms in which David, suffering from diseases caused by sin and attacked by wicked men, seeks forgiveness, restoration, and salvation from God. These psalms emphasize common themes through shared vocabulary and literary expressions. Special epithets for God, expressions related to sin and punishment, and depictions of enemies enhance the unity and coherence of this group. Based on these literary features, the common theological themes of Psalm 38-41 can be analyzed. First, the psalmist David is feeling the severity of God's judgment on his sin in the midst of God's discipline, confessing and repenting his sins. However, David does not stop there but offers deep lamentations for the calamity of his sickness before God, who allowed the disaster. He also accuses his enemies before God, who spread false rumors and plotted to kill him using the sickness as an excuse. Each psalm of Psalms 38-41 expresses trust and confidence in God who will deliver the psalmist from such suffering. This trust leads to praying for the forgiveness of sin, healing from illness, and salvation from enemies. Moreover, the many common themes and vocabulary that Psalms 38-41 share are related to David's covenant in 2 Samuel 7 and the confusion in the latter half of David's reign caused by his sin recorded in 2 Samuel 11-20 and 24. In this regard, Psalm 38-41 emphasizes that even 'David' or the great 'Davidic dynasty' can be restored and protected from the attacks of enemies by God's mercy and forgiveness. That is, the perpetuity of the Davidic dynasty promised in David's covenant depends on God's mercy and forgiveness. |
