| Abstract | 욥기의 대단원 38-41장은 욥에 대한 하나님의 논박이 주요 특색이다. 하나님의 말씀은 욥에 대한 독자의 공감을 고조시키면서 욥기 신학의 절정을 이룬다. 하나님의 말씀이 욥의 이전 요구들과 무관하거나 무시한다고 주장하는 대부분의 현대 해석자들과 달리, 본 논문은 하나님의 말씀에 담긴 대화적 본질을 부각한다. 논자는 욥기의 대단원이 이전 부분들과 정교한 방식으로 호응하는 연결점들을 발견하고 해석함으로써 하나님 말씀을 욥기서 나머지 부분들과 통합적으로 독서한다. 또한, 논자는 다양한 반복과 그 전략적 변형들을 분석함으로써 하나님의 말씀들과 욥의 발언들의 기저에 흐르는 치열한 논쟁의 내용을 구체화한다. 고도의 긴장을 동반한 지혜 논쟁들이 이 대화를 지배하고 있으며, 이 논쟁에서 하나님은 전략적인 모티프, 환유적인 심상, 욥의 발언들에 대한 역설적 재사용과 같은 시적 기법을 사용하시는 가장 강력한 논쟁자로 드러난다. 그 결과 하나님의 말씀과 욥기의 여러 부분을 정교하게 연결하는 어휘들과 사상들은 하나님의 강력한 임재 속에서 욥의 기존 이해가 소멸하고, 마침내 욥이 하나님에 대한 그의 혁신적인 이해로 돌입하는 과정을 보여준다. 욥의 이런 내적 변화는 욥의 두 번의 응답으로 표현된다. 욥기 전체 구도에서 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 응답하는 욥은 제28장의 지혜 찬미시에서 지혜와 그 획득 방법을 계시하시는 하나님께 응답하는 인간으로 나타난다(28:28, 42:6). 욥의 의도적으로 모호하고 다의적인 두 번째 응답은 욥기의 저자가 독자를 욥의 자리에 서게 하여 욥의 입장에서 하나님께 응답하도록 이끈다. 욥기의 이 열린 결말은 성령께서 감동하신 계시 말씀의 특성이며, 욥과 함께 성도를 자라게 하는 은혜의 공간이다. The dénouement of the book Job (Chaps. 38-41) is best characteristic of its disputation between God and Job. The divine speeches dramatically heighten the reader’s emphasis, reaching to the books’ climax. Contrary to modern interpreters who take the divine speeches to be irrelevant with or dismissive of Job’s persistent claim to be his undeserved suffering, this paper attempts to detect an undercurrent of the dialogic movement between God and Job by decoding various intertextual markers such as repetitions and similarities. Its major concern is that the dialogues between God and Job may well be best characteristic of sapiential disputation. The book of Job in general is dominantly shaped by its intense, heavy use of debates not only between Job and his friends and but also between Job and God. In God’s speeches to Job the deity appears as the supreme disputant who displays masterful skills in using poetic devices such as delicate motifs, evocative images, and, above all, ironic appropriations of Job’s previous utterances. The artful motifs carry in the aesthetical way the meanings, which they have acquired in earlier contexts, into the divine speeches. As a result, Joban all previous understandings are shattered at the presence of God. In his second response to God, Job finally reaches to new knowledge of his God. The author suggests a new perspective of the wisdom, allowing Job’s trembling at his harsh experience of seeing God’s new face to pulsate with his highly ambivalent diction. For readers to know what Job means by his second response is inevitably to become a Job; they are invited to stand as Job and take one step further to fear God. The open-ended perspective of the poet, which is part of the divinely inspired book of Job, is one of the greatest merits of this divine masterpiece, where readers become mature with Job. |
