| Title | 왕정시대의 프롤로그로 읽는 사무엘상 12장:본문-언어학적 접근을 바탕으로 |

| Abstract | 그동안 선행된 연구에서 사무엘상 12장은 사무엘의 개인적인 지위 유지를 위한 전략적인 연설이거나 편집자의 산물로 읽혀왔다. 본 논고는 관점의 척도를 기준으로 분석한 그동안의 연구에서 탈피하고 원문의 언어학적인 표지(linguistic maker)를 통해 사무엘상 12장의 메시지를 파악하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해, 본문의 언어적 정보를 바탕으로 계층구조를 형성하고 문단을 나눈 뒤, 참여자들 중 주도적 역할을 하는 주연을 파악하였다. 그 결과로 사무엘을 중심으로 한 첫 번째 문단과 여호와와 백성들을 중심으로 하는 두 번째 문단을 중심으로 분석하였다. 각 문단의 메시지를 파악하기 위해 화자와 청자, 참여자들의 역할, 문장의 형태 등을 종합적으로 고려하였다. 사무엘상 12장의 본문-언어학적 정보들을 종합한 결과, 사무엘상 12장은 ‘여호와의 공의로운 모든 일’을 주제로 한 연설인 것을 확인하였다. 이 연설에서 사무엘은 변론자, 중보자와 교사의 역할을 감당하고 있다. 연설의 본론에서는 두 번의 ‘여호와시다’를 통해 연설의 주제인 ‘여호와의 공의로운 모든 일’이 드러난다. 또한 연설의 주제가 백성들의 선조들과 백성들을 통해 어떻게 실현되었는지 설명한다. 마지막으로 이스라엘의 과거와 현재를 돌아보아 백성들과 왕은 미래를 준비하라는 권면을 받는다. 사무엘상 12장의 메시지의 종합은 이들에게 다가올 왕정 시대의 길라잡이 역할을 하고 있다. 전개될 본문의 길라잡이 역할을 하는 글을 프롤로그라고 하는데, 본문의 논지는 새로운 시대를 살아갈 왕들과 백성들에게 실마리를 제공해주는 프롤로그로서 기능하고 있다. In previous studies, Samuel 12 was read as a strategic speech or editorial product to maintain Samuel's status. This paper aims to break away from previous studies that analyzed based on the point of view and to grasp the message of 1 Samuel 12 through the linguistic maker of the original text. To this end, the hierarchical structure was formed based on the language information in the text, and after dividing paragraphs, the protagonists who played a leading role among the participants were identified. As a result, the first paragraph focused on Samuel, and the second paragraph centered on Jehovah and the people were analyzed. To understand the message of each paragraph, the roles of speakers, listeners, and participants and the format of sentences were comprehensively considered. As a result of synthesizing the textual language information of 1 Samuel 12, it was confirmed that 1 Samuel 12 was a speech under the theme of “All the righteous deeds of Jehovah.” Samuel acts as a pleader, mediator, and teacher in this speech. In the text of the speech, the theme of ‘all righteous things Jehovah has done’ is revealed through two declarations of "Jehovah." It also explains how the subject of the speech was realized through people's ancestors and the people. Finally, Samuel asks the people and the king to look back on Israel's past and present and prepare for the future. The combined message delivered in 1 Samuel 12 of the Samuel statue becomes a guide for the Israelites in the upcoming monarchy. The text that serves as a guide to the text to be unfolded is called a prologue, and the thesis of the text functions as a prologue that provides clues to the kings and people who will live in a new era. |
