| Abstract | 주전 8세기의 선지서인 호세아서가 여호와를 사자로 표현하는 것은 독특하다. 구약성경에서 ‘여호와는 목자’ 라는 표현에 익숙한 청자에게 ‘여호와는 사자’ 은유는 특별한 의미로 다가올 것이다. 호세아서 연구에서 호세아서의 문학적, 신학적 통일성에 대한 주제는 학자들의 관심을 불러 일으켰으며 다양한 의견이 존재한다. 호세아서의 사자 은유는 주로 심판과 구원의 맥락에서 연구되었다. 호세아서에 나타난 은유를 연구함에 있어서 은유 이론을 접목한 연구는 많이 시도되지 않았다. 본 연구는 레이코프와 존슨의 은유 이론을 사용하여 사자 은유가 여호와의 언약적 심판과 언약적 사랑을 함의하고 있으며 호세아서 전체를 아우르는 신학적 통일성을 가지고 있다는 것을 주장한다. 호세아 5:14와 호세아 13:7-8은 심판의 맥락에서 이스라엘의 범죄로 인한 여호와의 진노를 사자 은유를 통해 표현한다. 모든 것을 초토화시키는 사자 은유의 발화는 이스라엘의 죄로 인한 여호와의 진노를 강조하며 언약적 저주와 심판을 나타낸다. 호세아 11:10의 사자 은유는 구원의 맥락에서 이스라엘을 불러 모으고 집으로 귀환하는 것을 가리키며 여호와의 언약적 사랑을 함의한다. 호세아서의 사자 은유는 심판에서 구원에 이르는 과정에서 사용되어 호세아서의 문학적, 신학적 통일성을 나타내며 언약 백성에 대한 여호와의 주권과 언약적 사랑을 나타낸다. It is unique that the book of Hosea, a prophet from the 8th century B.C., describes YHWH as a lion. The listener is familiar with the expression ‘YHWH is the shepherd’ in the Old Testament, so the metaphor of ‘YHWH is the lion’ will have a special meaning. In the study of the Book of Hosea, the topic of the literary and theological unity of the Book of Hosea has aroused the interest of scholars and there are various opinions. The lion metaphor in the book of Hosea has been studied primarily in the context of judgment and salvation. In the metaphor of the book of Hosea, studies using metaphor theory have not been attempted much. This study uses Lakoff and Johnson's metaphorical theory to argue that the lion metaphor implies the covenant judgment and covenant love of YHWH and has theological unity that binds the whole book of Hosea. The lion metaphor in the book of Hosea 5:14 and Hosea 13:7-8 to describe YHWH's wrath for Israel's transgression in the context of judgment. The lion metaphor emphasizes the wrath of YHWH due to Israel's sins and represents a covenant curse and judgment. The lion metaphor in Hosea 11:10 refers to the gathering of Israel and their return home in the context of salvation, implying YHWH's covenant love. The lion metaphor is used in the process from judgment to salvation, showing the literary and theological unity of Hosea, and expressing YHWH's sovereignty and covenant love for his covenant people. |
