| Title | 에스겔 26-28장에 나타난 두로의 심판 이유에 관한 고찰 |

| Abstract | 에스겔서의 열국 심판 본문(25-32장)에서 두로가 심판받는 원인은 외형적으로 잘 드러나지 않는다. 하지만 26-28장의 석의 작업을 통해서 볼 때, 다른 열국과 같이 예루살렘의 성전으로 대변되는 하나님의 임재를 훼손했기 때문임을 알 수 있다. 물론 두로는 암몬, 모압, 에돔과 같이 직접적으로 하나님의 임재 장소로서 예루살렘이 멸망할 때 조롱하거나 기뻐하지는 않았다(25장 참조). 하지만 두로는 예루살렘이 멸망한 상황에서 하나님이 임재하는 세상의 중심인 성전이 예루살렘에서 자신에게로 옮겨졌다고 생각하고 교만했다(26:2). 두로는 자신에게 하나님의 임재의 장소가 있다고 말함으로써, 하나님의 임재를 왜곡시켰던 것이다. 그 결과 에스겔서는 고대 근동의 창조 신화와 성전 이데오르기를 차용하여, 두로가 하나님이 임재하는 창조질서의 중심이 아니라 무질서의 세력임을 제시하여, 두로가 왜 심판을 받는지를 당시의 세상적 언어로 선포하고 있다. 먼저 26장은 두로가 깊은 바다가 덮쳐서 멸망하게 될 것을 말하여, 바다라는 무질서의 세력에 의해 무너지는 나라임을 밝힌다. 이는 무질서의 세력을 물리치고 세워진 곳이 성전이라는 고대 근동의 창조 신화를 무색하게 하는 것이다. 이를 통해 두로는 결코 하나님이 임재하는 성전이 아님을 드러내고 있다. 이어 27장은 성전이 바다라는 무질서의 세력을 계속적으로 제압하는 곳이라는 고대 근동의 성전 이데올로기를 차용하여, 성전이 있다고 자랑했던 두로를바다를 제압하는 배로 비유한다. 여기서 두로의 배의 재질과 무역품은 예루살렘 성전의 재질들을 연상시킨다. 하지만 두로의 배는 동풍을 만나 멸망하게 될 것이다(27:26). 이로써 출애굽에서 동풍에 의해 홍해바다가 물러나듯이(출 14:21), 두로는 동풍에 멸망하는 무질서의 세력임을 교훈한다. 끝으로 28:1-19는 하나님의 임재의 장소인 성전이 있다고 자랑했던 두로의 왕이 자신을 그 성전에 거하는 신이라고 교만했음을 지적한다. 그래서 두로 왕을 신을 자처한 아담에 비유하여, 선악과를 먹음으로써 신처럼 되려고 했던 아담의 운명처럼 두로 왕이 멸망하게 될 것을 알린다(28:17-19). 이로써 두로의 심판은 하나님의 임재를 왜곡하는 것이 얼마나 심각한 것인지에 대해 귀한 경종을 울린다. This work has attempted an research on why the judgment against Tyre was pronounced in the oracles against the nations in Ezekiel 25-32. At first glance, it is not clear what brought the judgement on Tyre. An exegesis of Ezekiel 26-28, however, reveals that the destruction of Tyre was attributed to her distorting the divine presence. Tyre did so when she boasted that the place of divine presence was transferred to Tyre from Jerusalem due to the fall of the Jerusalem temple. Therefore, the prophet Ezekiel suggested that Tyre was part of chaotic forces, not the center of the created order where the divine temple was located, by using the ancient near eastern creation and temple mythologies. First, Ezekiel 26 highlights that Tyre will be destroyed by the deep sea, thereby hinting that Tyre is not the creation center. This entails that Tyre is not the place where the divine temple as the creation center is located after defeating the chaotic forces. Ezekiel 27 further compares Tyre as a ship which is in control of the seas according to the ancient near eastern temple ideology where the temple is regarded as the place where chaotic forces represented by the seas continues to be controlled. In this chapter, the items which the ship of Tyre is furnished with and trades are reminiscent of the Jerusalem temple. This description makes it clear that Tyre thinks of herself as having the divine temple which controlls the chaotic forces. However, the ship of Tyre ends up being destroyed by the east wind, as is the case with the Red Sea having succumbed to the east wind in Exodus 14:21. In Ezekiel 28:1-19, the king of Tyre says "I am God" in Ezekiel 28:1-19. This means that the king of Tyre which thinks of Tyre as the place of the divine temple goes further in regarding himself as a God in the divine temple. Therefore, the king of Tyre will be judged like Adam who met the fate of perishing after pursuing to be a God by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil(28:17-19). These observations lend credence to the argument that Tyre is judged by the reason of distorting the divine presence. |
