| Abstract | 본 논문의 연구목표는 시 119절 1-64절의 히브리 시적 기법을 분석하는 것이다. 알파벳시인 119편을 8절씩 나누어 문단을 구분한 후 분석을 수행했을 때 드러나는 주요 시적 기법은 다음과 같다. 문단1(1-8절)에서 사용되는 중요한 시적 기법은 ‘길’ 이미지가 여호와의 율법으로 행하는 삶을 뜻하는 것으로 설정된 후, 그 길이 여호와의 길임을 선언하고, 그 길이 시인의 길이 되어야 한다는 것을 명시하는 ‘길’ 이미지의 활용법이다. 문단2(9-16절)는 문단1의 길 이미지를 이어받아 그 길을 정결하게 지켜내는 여러 가지 방법들을 소개한다. 문단3(17-24절)은 시인이 그런 길을 실제적으로 가기 위해 여러 요청을 하는 고난의 상황들을 묘사했다. 문단1로부터 문단3까지 이어진 길 이미지는 문단4(25-32절)에 이르러 절정을 맞이하게 되는데, 문단4는 길 이미지를 활용한 패턴을 전개하는 시적 장치를 통해, 잘못된 길로부터 떠나 말씀의 길로 걸어가겠다는 의지를 분명하게 드러낸다. 문단5부터는 새로운 흐름이 등장한다. 문단5(33-40절)는 히필 명령형 및 피엘 명령형을 적극적으로 활용하여 하나님께서 시인을 말씀의 길로 인도해 주실 것을 강력하게 요청한다. 이어지는 문단6(41-48절)은 청유형 동사를 연달아 사용함으로써 시인의 의지를 중점적으로 표현한다. 문단5에서 요청을 드린 시인은 문단6에서는 그 요청을 들어주실 하나님께 대한 자신의 결심을 표현했다고 볼 수 있다. 문단7(49-56절)은 전방조응 지시대명사 및 ‘하야 동사 + 전치사’ 패턴의 활용을 통해 문단5와 문단6에서 언급된 하나님의 말씀이 이제 시인에게 노래가, 위로가, 그리고 그의 삶 자체가 되었다는 것을 표현한다. 문단8(57-64절)은 1인칭 접미사와 2인칭 접미사의 구조적 배열을 통해 시적 흐름을 구성하고, 맨 마지막 절에서 1인칭과 2인칭의 순서를 뒤바꾸어 ‘나를 가르쳐 주소서’라는 메시지를 강조하여, 시인과 하나님의 말씀의 관계성을 정립한다. This article purports to perform an analysis on the uses of Hebrew poetic devices in Psalm 119:1-64. Psalm 119 is an acrostic psalm, therefore it should be understood accordingly. It is divided into 22 paragraphs, each of which has 8 verses that start with same Hebrew alphabet. A poetic analysis pursued in this study reveals diverse features of paragraph 1 through paragraph 8. Paragraph 1(vv.1-8) employs way motif, which implies a life style of obeying God's law. Paragraph 2(vv.9-16) continues to use the way motif of Paragraph 1 to further describe how we should keep the way. Paragraph 3(vv.17-24) provides description of suffering that the poet needs to endure with in order to continue to walk on the right way. Way motif continuously used in paragraphs 1-3 reaches a climax at paragraph 4(vv.25-32) where patterns of way motif develops into making clear resolution of the poet in leaving a wrong way and walking in the way of God's words. Paragraph 5(vv.33-40) begins a new interpretive phase, employing Hiphil imperatives and Piel imperatives to make a request for God to lead the poet into the way of God's words. Paragraph 6(vv.41-48) repeatedly uses cohortatives to bring up the poet's intention established in front of God. Paragraph 7(vv.49-56) uses anaphoric demonstrative pronouns and patterns of ‘hayah verb + preposition’ in order to demonstrate that God's words in paragraphs 5 and 6 now have become the poet's song and life. Paragraph 8(vv.57-64) provides a clearly-made structure by 1st and 2nd suffixes and emphasizes his own request of 'Please teach me' by reversing the order of 1st and 2nd suffixes, thereby establishing a right relationship between God and himself. |
