| Title | 역대기에 나타난 "온 이스라엘"의 중요성 |

| Abstract | 역대기에서 특징적으로 사용되는 용어 가운데 하나가 ‘온 이스라엘’이다. 이것은 역대기 저자의 신학적 의도를 보여주는 중요한 개념으로 역대기 전체에서 40회 이상 나타나고 있다. 이 글은 역대기에서 ‘온 이스라엘’이라는 용어가 사무엘-열왕기의 본문과 동일한 경우, 다른 경우, 또한 고유한 경우로 나누어 그 의미와 중요성을 살핀다. 역대기에서 ‘온 이스라엘’에 대한 이상적인 모습은 다윗과 솔로몬 시대를 통해 제시되었고, 솔로몬 시대 이후에는 유다 왕들의 내러티브(대하 10-36장)에서 ‘온 이스라엘’이라는 용어가 자주 반복됨으로써 성전과 예배에 신실한 사람들이 ‘온 이스라엘’이라는 저자의 신학적 의도가 표현되고 있다. 역대기 저자는 포로 후기 공동체로 하여금 하나님의 언약 백성으로서 ‘온 이스라엘’에 대한 기억을 잊지 않도록 하고 있으며, 또한 이전의 이스라엘과 연속성을 지닌 언약 백성으로서 열두 지파가 연합된 온전한 이스라엘의 회복에 대한 소망을 갖도록 이끌고 있다. 다시 말해, 역대기 저자는 포로 후기 상황에서 ‘온 이스라엘’ 개념을 적용하여 이전의 이스라엘과 포로 후기 공동체를 동일시하고 있으며, 포로 후기 공동체가 이전의 이스라엘과 연속성을 지닌 언약 백성으로서 이스라엘의 열두 지파가 연합된 온전한 이스라엘의 회복에 대한 소망을 잃지 않도록 격려하고 있는 것이다. 따라서 역대기에서 ‘온 이스라엘’이라는 용어는 하나님을 찾는 사람들 즉 성전과 예배에 신실한 사람들을 중심으로 이상적인 이스라엘의 회복에 대한 소망을 담고 있다. The term ‘All Israel’ in Chronicles is characteristically employed in the Chronicler’s description of the Judean kings. This term appears more than 40 times in various meanings in Chronicles. The significance of this term in Chronicles is that “All Israel” functions as a covenant concept in Chronicles. The ideal image of ‘All Israel’ in Chronicles was presented through the times of David and Solomon, and the term ‘All Israel’ is frequently repeated in the narratives of the Judean kings after Solomon's reign. For the Chronicler, ‘All Israel’ is those who seek Yahweh through the temple and its worship, so that it is not important whether one who belongs to the Northern Kingdom or the Southern Judah. It reveals the Chronicler’s theological intention. The Chronicler applies the concept of ‘All Israel’ to the post-exilic situation in the Persian period, through which the post-exilic community as a covenant people has the continuity with the former Israel. By employing this term, the Chronicler wanted the post-exilic community to have the hope for the restoration of the whole Israel, in which the twelve tribes of Israel are united. Thus, the term “All Israel” in Chronicles contains the hope for the restoration of the ideal Israel, centered on those seeking God who are faithful to the temple and its worship. |
