| Title | 시편의 윤리적 함양 기능: 의인과 악인의 대조 및 율법에 대한 발화수반행위를 중심으로 |

| Abstract | 본 연구의 목적은 화행이론(speech act theory)을 적용하여 시편의 윤리적 함양 기능을 규명하는데 있다. 주지하는 바와 같이 시편은 오랜 세월 신앙공동체 안에서 기도와 찬양의 원천(源泉)으로 사용되어 왔다. 성도들은 시편을 읽으며 기도를 배우고, 시편을 낭독하며 찬양을 배웠다. 하지만 시편은 그런 기능들뿐만 아니라 시편을 읽는 독자들에게 윤리적으로 자극하여 윤리적인 삶을 촉구하는 기능도 수행한다. ‘기도’와 ‘찬양’이라는 장르적 외형(外形)을 갖추고 있고, 독자들에게 명령과 요청과 같은 명시적인 표현을 사용하지 않음에도 불구하고, 시편은 ‘명령’과 ‘요청’과 ‘선택’의 발화수반행위 효력(illocutionary force)을 수행하여 윤리적인 차원에서 독자들에게 영향을 끼친다. 본 논문은 이와 같은 시편의 윤리적 함양 기능을 확인하기 위해 시편 1편의 ‘의인과 악인의 대조’ 구도, 제1권의 두 번째 소단락인 시편 15편부터 24편까지의 배열, 소위 토라시편으로 분류되고 시편 전체를 지탱하는 것으로 간주되는 시편 1편, 19편, 119편의 배열을 탐구한다. 이 세 부분에 대한 화행이론 적용을 통해서 시편의 윤리적 함양 기능 여부를 타진할 것이다. The goal of this study is to demonstrate the ethical function of cultivation of the Psalter by the speech act theory. As known, the Psalter has long been utilized as the source of prayer and praise by the saints. The saints has learned how to pray while reading the Psalter and how to praise while reciting the Psalter. In addition to such roles of the Psalter, however, it plays the role of cultivating the ethical and religious life of the saints. Though the Psalter takes the external forms of prayer and praise in terms of genre, it performs the illocutionary acts of ‘commandment’, ‘request’, ‘choice’ etc. In order to identify the ethical function of the Psalter, this study examines the contrast of the righteous and the wicked in Psalm 1, the compositional arrangement of Psalms 15-24, and the torah psalms 1, 19, 119 that seem to support the whole Psalter. By the analysis of those three sections, hopefully the horizon of the Psalter would be extended. |
