| Abstract | 본 연구의 목적은 신명기 25:11-12의 독특한 법에 대하여 논의하고 이 극단적이고 야만적인 법을 재해석하는데 있다. 이 글에서 논자는 이 법의 목적이 그것의 문자적 의미와 다르다고 주장한다. 논자의 주장을 증명하기 위하여, 먼저, 유사한 다른 고대 근동법들과 이 법을 세심하게 비교하고, 두번째로, 신명기 25장의 문학적 구조를 분석한다. 마지막으로, 신명기 25장 11-12절에 등장하는 의미를 신중하게 파악해야 하는 몇몇 단어들의 용례들을 살펴본다. 본 연구는 이러한 법이 그 당시에 본문에서 언급하는 사건이 발생하는 것을 미연에 방지하고, 이러한 사건으로부터 사회적 약자인 여성을 보호하는데 도움이 되었을 것이라는 사실을 드러낸다. This study aims to discuss the unique law for the woman in Det 25:11-12 and reinterpret this drastic and barbaric law. In this paper, I would like to insist that the law’s purpose is different than its literal meaning. In order to prove my opinion, firstly, I compare the law with other similar ancient Near Eastern laws carefully. Secondly, I analyze the literary structure of Deut 25. Finally, I search the usages of several problematic words in Deut 25:11-12. This study will reveal that the law seemed to help prevent such an incident happening at that time and protect women who had no power in the society from this kind of incident. |
